Bollywood’s Next Legend

  

Indians are particulary known of their movie obsession and granting the demi-god status to the super stars and other film personalities. One can see the film based news, magazines and gossips everywhere with people going like crazy for the bollywood.  That is the charisma of the Indian cinema. This has created many legends in the film industry.  The initial mass popular hero, we can say, was Dilip Kumar.  He had attained the status of superstar with more than half of his films celebrated jubilees.  The old people, who have seen his pictures of 1950’s and 1960’s still consider Dilip Kumar as the best actor ever they have seen.

Next came the Dev Anand era. He has given many successful films in his career. His style and mannerism are still remembered.  Post 1970’s saw many wonderful heroes like Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna etc. But Amitab Bachchan arrival has changed the Indian film scenario.  The angry young man acting has shackled all the records of contemporary films and no sooner, he has reached the status of super star.  Many stars came and gone, but still Amitab rules the bollywood as star of all the stars.

With younger actors coming, Shahrukh Khan was evolved as the youngsters’ heart throb and many consider him as the next legendary star after Amitab Bachchan.

But who will be the next legend ? It is very interesting to see the result, in the next few years. With Salman, Aamir, Hrithik, Akshay Kumar etc. performing great acting and giving hits, it will be a million dollors question of who will be the next legendary star. Only time will have the answer.
